Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
at least one year of customer service experience in a public facing environment
possess excellent verbal communication skills
ability to work with minimal supervision
ability to maintain a high level of focus while monitoring traffic and activities
capable of standing or walking for entire shift
able to work outdoors in extreme heat and cold
physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch
ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
able to work in environment with traffic, noise, weather conditions, vehicle fumes, and crowds
able to walk frequently during peak demand and navigate crowded parking facility

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
at least one year of customer service experience in a public facing environment
excellent verbal communication skills
ability to work with minimal supervision
ability to maintain focus in a busy environment
ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
fluency in languages other than English is valued

Job Duties

Support event parking operations: perform routine opening and closing procedures
maintain inventory of supplies
ensure parking systems and equipment are functional
assist customers with payment transactions
provide flagging and vehicle traffic control as needed
ensure all customer facing signage and pay stations accurately display current rate information
troubleshoot equipment and system issues and report outages to service providers
keep vehicle lanes, roadways, parking ramp and stairways free of obstructions and debris
perform trash removal and winter maintenance activities
interact professionally with customers, clients, and personnel using clear verbal and written communication
promote museum amenities, memberships, exhibits, programs, and events
keep personnel work areas clean and secure
escalate incidents to security personnel and management immediately
operate parking equipment and safety tools safely
perform other supportive duties as assigned
