Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred
3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
3-5 years of audiovisual experience required
Completion of training and certification requirements for internal or external applicants
Knowledge of technical theory
Advanced problem-solving skills
Experience leading workflows and team members
Valid driver's license if applicable
Ability to lift 50 lbs

Ability to meet and complete required external training and certifications within 60 days if external applicant

Job Duties

Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely setup, refresh and removal of equipment
Performs daily floor management including directing technician workflow and assisting with labor needs and scheduling
Participates in crew scheduling with venue management and workforce focusing on talent, business levels, and event requirements
Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed
Coordinates communications for event management with the team
Attends venue meetings such as banquet order meetings and pre/post conferences
Assists management in team compliance with Operational Excellence
Provides scheduling and operational efficiency suggestions
Provides excellent service exceeding customer expectations by following Encore's Service Standards
Maintains positive client relationships through effective communication
Meets guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment functions properly
Monitors events and checks on customers throughout the day
Fosters and maintains hotel/client relationships
Assists in team compliance with Encore's Service Standards
Assists in training technicians on floor activities and operational standards
Serves as a mentor for new hires
Provides guidance on technician career development
Models a positive work environment centered on company values
Responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment
Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues
Complies with company security and safety measures
Ensures equipment security from theft or damage
Performs preventative equipment maintenance
Leads team in equipment security, storage, and transportation
Participates in physical inventory counts as needed
