Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required
  • Internal applicants must meet and complete all training and certification requirements as determined by Encore’s Global Learning Training Program
  • External applicants must meet and achieve all required certifications within 60 days of start date
  • Knowledge of technical theory
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading workflow and team members
  • A valid driver’s license is required for roles operating Company vehicles
  • Additional DOT requirements may apply
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Organizes the daily floor activities to ensure timely equipment set up, refresh and removal
  • Performs daily floor management by directing the workflow of technicians and assisting with labor needs and scheduling
  • Participates in crew scheduling with venue management and Workforce to align talent with business levels and event requirements
  • Ensures flowsheets are updated and properly completed
  • Works with the team to establish coordinated communications for event management
  • Attends venue meetings such as banquet event order meetings and pre/post conferences
  • Assists management in compliance with Operational Excellence
  • Provides scheduling and operational efficiency suggestions
  • Provides excellent customer service exceeding client expectations according to Encore’s Service Standards
  • Maintains positive relationships with clients through effective communication
  • Meets with guests onsite to ensure equipment setup meets needs and works properly
  • Monitors events and checks in on customers throughout the day
  • Fosters and maintains hotel/client relationships
  • Assists management in team member compliance with Encore’s Service Standards
  • Assists in training technicians on floor activities and operational standards
  • Serves as a mentor for new hires
  • Provides career guidance for technicians
  • Models and reinforces a positive work environment centered on company values
  • Responsible for accurate and timely setup, operation and breakdown of intermediate audiovisual equipment
  • Troubleshoots technical issues and resolves problems quickly
  • Complies with Company security and safety measures
  • Ensures equipment security against theft or damage
  • Performs preventative maintenance on equipment
  • Leads proper security, storage, transportation and maintenance of equipment
  • Participates in physical inventory counts as requested
