Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
- 3-5 years of audio-visual experience required
- Completion of Encore’s training and certification requirements
- Knowledge of technical theory
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Experience leading workflow and team members
- Valid driver’s license if operating company vehicles
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Meet physical demands such as standing, walking, stooping, crawling, kneeling, bending, reaching, grasping
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call status
Job Qualifications

- Completion of Encore’s Global Learning Training Program for internal applicants
- External applicants must complete required training and certifications within 60 days

Job Duties
- Organizes daily floor activities to ensure timely equipment setup, refresh, and removal
- Performs daily floor management including directing technician workflow and assisting with labor needs and scheduling
- Participates in crew scheduling processes focusing on talent alignment and event requirements
- Ensures flowsheets are updated and completed accurately
- Coordinates communications for event management with the team
- Attends venue meetings such as banquet event order meetings and pre/post event conferences
- Assists management in ensuring team compliance with operational excellence
- Provides suggestions for scheduling and operational efficiencies
- Provides excellent customer service exceeding internal and external customer expectations
- Maintains positive relationships with clients through effective communication
- Meets with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment is functioning
- Monitors events and checks in with customers throughout the day
- Fosters and maintains hotel/client relationships
- Assists management in team adherence to Encore’s service standards
- Assists in training technicians on floor activities and operational standards
- Serves as mentor for new hires and guides technician career journeys
- Models a positive work environment centered on company values
- Responsible for setup, operation, and breakdown of audiovisual equipment
- Troubleshoots technical issues promptly
- Complies with company security and safety measures
- Ensures equipment security from theft or damage
- Performs preventative equipment maintenance
- Leads team in equipment security, storage, transportation, and maintenance
- Participates in physical inventory counts as requested
