Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of audio-visual technical experience required
  • 3-5 years of customer service or hospitality experience preferred
  • Completion of Encore’s Global Learning Training Program required for internal applicants
  • Ability to achieve required training and certifications within 60 days for external applicants
  • Knowledge of technical theory
  • Advanced problem-solving skills
  • Experience leading teams and directing workflow
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Additional DOT requirements if applicable

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Organizes daily floor activities including equipment setup and removal
  • Performs daily floor management and directs technician workflow
  • Assists management in operational efficiency improvements
  • Ensures accurate completion of flowsheets
  • Coordinates communications for event management
  • Attends venue meetings for event planning
  • Provides exceptional customer service and maintains client relationships
  • Meets with guests to ensure satisfaction and proper equipment setup
  • Monitors events and checks on customers
  • Assists in training and mentoring technicians
  • Models positive working environment based on company values
  • Sets up, operates, and breaks down intermediate audiovisual equipment
  • Troubleshoots technical issues promptly
  • Complies with company safety and security measures
  • Ensures equipment security and performs preventative maintenance
  • Leads team in equipment handling and storage
  • Participates in inventory processes as assigned
