Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 4 plus years of audio visual and customer service or hospitality experience
  • 2 plus years of supervisory experience
  • Experience leading workflow and team members
  • Knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environments
  • Proficiency with computer hardware and software
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Customer satisfaction focus

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum 4 years of audio visual and customer service or hospitality experience
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience leading workflow and team members
  • Working knowledge of audio visual equipment in live show environments
  • Proficiency with computer hardware
  • Proficiency with computer software including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • Effective leadership abilities
  • Strong customer satisfaction focus

Job Duties

  • Manages daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure timely and accurate equipment and service delivery
  • Provides direct supervision of team members including scheduling and timekeeping
  • Ensures billing is reviewed and approved by clients and advises management of potential challenges
  • Maintains and updates daily equipment sheets properly
  • Manages inventory control procedures to maintain proper inventory levels while ensuring safety and quality assurance
  • Attends BEO, Pre-Cons, and pre-production meetings as needed
  • Delegates tasks appropriately
  • Reviews quotes and recommends cost efficiencies per operating procedures
  • Supervises and mentors operational staff to maximize client satisfaction and revenue via upselling
  • Provides outstanding customer service by fostering relationships with clients, team members, vendors, and neighboring properties
  • Meets with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment setup is functioning
  • Maintains a professional image and ensures team adheres to company and hotel standards
  • Promotes a positive working environment based on core values
  • Hires, develops, leads, and motivates a team of technicians and support staff
  • Drives professional development and training to improve business acumen and technical knowledge
  • Manages human resource issues including performance management and salary administration
  • Utilizes company computer systems and ensures team is trained on them
  • Recommends additional training opportunities for team members as needed
