Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • minimum 4 years of relevant experience
  • at least 2 years supervisory experience
  • knowledge of audio-visual equipment
  • proficiency with computers and software
  • ability to manage staff and workflow
  • excellent customer service skills
  • effective communication and leadership abilities
  • ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends
  • physical ability to perform lifting and other physical tasks
  • adherence to company appearance standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • bachelor’s degree preferred
  • over 4 years of audio-visual and customer service/hospitality experience
  • at least 2 years of supervisory experience
  • demonstrated ability to lead workflows and teams
  • working knowledge of live audio-visual equipment
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • skilled in software programs including Microsoft Office and internet applications
  • strong leadership and customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Manage daily floor activities and workflow of technicians to ensure timely delivery of services
  • provide direct supervision of team members including scheduling and time keeping
  • ensure client billing is reviewed and approved and communicate challenges to management
  • update daily equipment sheets accurately
  • manage inventory control to maintain levels and ensure safety and quality
  • attend pre-event and production meetings as needed
  • delegate tasks appropriately
  • review quotes and recommend cost efficiencies
  • supervise and mentor staff to maximize client satisfaction and onboard upselling
  • foster excellent relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • meet guests onsite to confirm equipment setup and service quality
  • maintain a professional team image according to company standards
  • promote a positive work environment aligned with core values
  • hire, train, lead and motivate technicians and support staff
  • implement ongoing training and development programs
  • manage human resource matters including performance and salary administration
  • use company software systems effectively and train team members accordingly
  • register team members for additional training opportunities
