Job Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum 4 years audio visual or hospitality experience
- At least 2 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of live event audio visual equipment
- Proficiency with computer hardware and software
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Over 4 years of audio visual, customer service, or hospitality experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience
- Experienced in leading workflow and team management
- Working knowledge of live event audio visual equipment
- Proficient with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office and internet
- Strong leadership skills focused on customer satisfaction
Job Duties
- Manages daily floor activities and technician workflow to ensure on-time delivery of equipment and services
- Provides direct supervision of team members including scheduling and time keeping
- Reviews and approves client billing and advises management of potential challenges
- Maintains updated and accurate equipment records
- Manages inventory control ensuring safety, security, and quality
- Delegates tasks appropriately to optimize operations
- Attends meetings related to event planning and production
- Reviews quotes and recommends cost efficiencies
- Supervises and mentors staff to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
- Provides outstanding customer service and fosters strong client and vendor relationships
- Meets with guests onsite to ensure needs are met and equipment functions properly
- Maintains professional appearance standards for self and team
- Promotes a positive work environment based on company values
- Hires, develops, and motivates technicians and support staff
- Drives professional development and training initiatives
- Manages performance, salary administration, and training
- Ensures proper use of company software and registers staff for additional training
