Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum 2 years of experience in event operations or coordination
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • strong attention to detail
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • availability to work on-site during events
  • knowledge of safety and fire regulations relevant to events

Job Duties

  • Researches potential vendors
  • prepares RFQs and contributes to the negotiation and selection process
  • executes pre-event, onsite and post-event stakeholder services with venue and service providers
  • supports event registration and related processes including vendor interface and on-site activities
  • supports and implements customer service programs that set quality standards
  • monitors floorplan development and assists with Fire Marshal approval
  • documents and executes standard operating procedures
  • monitors event operation budgets and provides monthly forecasts
  • documents and executes production schedules
  • provides exhibitor assistance before, during and after events
  • performs other duties as assigned
