Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • one year or more management experience
  • two or more years banquet captain experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office and database software preferred
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • availability to work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
  • ability to stand, walk, bend for extended periods
  • capability to lift objects with assistance

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • one year or more of management experience
  • two or more years as a banquet captain or similar role
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office suite and database software preferred
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • leadership skills and team management experience

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage a team of event hosts
  • oversee all setup of event areas
  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless events
  • establish and maintain client relationships to exceed guest expectations
  • complete event reporting and use feedback for continuous improvement
  • forecast event staffing needs and schedule staff
  • counsel and discipline staff as needed
  • work flexible shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
