Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • minimum 1 year of management experience
  • at least 2 years experience as banquet captain
  • proficient knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • broad experience in event planning and execution
  • ability to use MS Office Suite and database software
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year or more of management experience
  • 2 years or more as banquet captain
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industries
  • broad knowledge and experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software preferred
  • familiarity with POS register systems

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage a team of event hosts
  • oversee event area setup
  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure seamless event execution
  • establish and maintain connections with event clients
  • exceed guest expectations through a guest-focused approach
  • complete event reporting and analyze guest feedback for improvements
  • forecast events and appropriately schedule event staff
  • counsel and discipline staff according to HR policies
  • remain flexible to work various shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays
