Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Availability to work full time onsite at Boston Marriott Copley Place
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
- Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related field
- Knowledge of banquet operations and guest service standards
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environments
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Proficiency in coordinating teams and event logistics
Job Duties
- Direct and motivate event services team members
- Monitor and control financial responsibilities including asset protection
- Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to ensure event success
- Identify and implement training opportunities for staff
- Project and manage supply and equipment inventories
- Lead banquet operations ensuring compliance with laws and company policies
- Attend pre-event meetings and conduct event room inspections
