Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Availability to work full time onsite at Boston Marriott Copley Place
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of customer service
  • Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related field
  • Knowledge of banquet operations and guest service standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in fast-paced environments
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
  • Proficiency in coordinating teams and event logistics

Job Duties

  • Direct and motivate event services team members
  • Monitor and control financial responsibilities including asset protection
  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to ensure event success
  • Identify and implement training opportunities for staff
  • Project and manage supply and equipment inventories
  • Lead banquet operations ensuring compliance with laws and company policies
  • Attend pre-event meetings and conduct event room inspections
