Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years of experience in event management, food and beverage, or related field
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of event-related legal and sanitation requirements
  • Ability to manage financial and administrative tasks
  • Skilled in team coordination and staff scheduling
  • Commitment to customer service excellence
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Proficiency in inventory and equipment management
  • Willingness to participate in safety training and human resource activities

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of event laws and sanitation standards
  • Ability to manage budgets and forecast supply needs
  • Experience in customer service and conflict resolution
  • Capable of conducting staff training and development
  • Proficient in scheduling and inventory management
  • Familiarity with hospitality industry best practices and current event trends

Job Duties

  • Direct and motivate the banquet team to provide high-quality service
  • Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders involved in the event
  • Identify training opportunities and implement strategies to achieve goals
  • Project supply needs and manage departmental inventories
  • Adhere to all laws, standards, policies, and sanitation levels
  • Schedule staff to meet service standards while maximizing profitability
  • Lead banquet team meetings and delegate tasks to improve performance
  • Act as liaison to kitchen staff and lead events service shifts
  • Engage with guests for feedback and promptly resolve complaints
  • Empower employees to deliver excellent customer service
  • Conduct safety training and manage human resources activities
  • Review guest feedback and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in relevant meetings and contribute to continuous improvement
