Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year or more of management experience
  • 2 or more years banquet captain experience
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • broad knowledge of and experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite and database software preferred
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • ability to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage a team of event hosts
  • oversee all setup for event areas
  • collaborate with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
  • connect personally with event clients to exceed their expectations
  • promote a guest-focused hosting approach
  • complete event reporting and utilize feedback to improve satisfaction
  • manage staff scheduling and forecast events using client database
  • counsel and discipline staff according to HR policies
  • be available to work varied shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended hours
