Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related field
  • Ability to manage banquet operations and lead teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in managing inventories and equipment
  • Knowledge of customer service excellence
  • Capability to train and develop staff
  • Ability to handle guest feedback and resolve complaints
  • Competence in applying safety procedures and emergency responses
  • Willingness to participate actively in event service shifts
  • Commitment to uphold company policies and standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • Knowledge of laws related to event management
  • Understanding of banquet operations and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to communicate effectively with teams and clients
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team
  • Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and maintaining sanitation standards
  • Skills in problem resolution and customer service
  • Capability to conduct training and performance evaluations
  • Familiarity with safety procedures and emergency protocols

Job Duties

  • Direct and motivate team while providing high quality service based on standards
  • Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders involved in events
  • Identify training needs and plan strategies to achieve goals
  • Manage banquet operations including supply projection and equipment maintenance
  • Lead banquet teams by setting goals, delegating tasks, and conducting meetings
  • Participate in and lead event servicing shifts
  • Ensure event rooms are set up according to specifications and conduct inspections
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in event areas
  • Act as liaison among Banquets, Event Planning, Event Technology teams, and clients
  • Resolve issues and suggest alternatives to arrangements as necessary
  • Interact with guests for feedback and handle complaints
  • Encourage and verify excellent customer service by employees
  • Conduct human resource activities including training on safety, performance monitoring, and providing feedback
  • Implement corrective action plans and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Conduct associate performance appraisals and maintain open communication
  • Ensure compliance with property policies and procedures
  • Delegate tasks to verify timely and standard-compliant event setups
