Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • minimum 1 year of management experience
  • at least 2 years as a banquet captain or equivalent
  • thorough knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • proven experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and database software
  • familiarity with POS register systems
  • strong leadership and communication abilities
  • flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 1 year or more of management experience
  • 2 or more years as banquet captain or similar
  • knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
  • experience in event planning and execution
  • proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • familiar with database software
  • knowledge of POS register systems
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team

Job Duties

  • Host special events
  • manage your team of event hosts
  • oversee all setup of appropriate areas
  • work with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
  • build and maintain personal connections with event clients
  • ensure guest needs are exceeded and promote a guest-focused approach to hosting
  • complete all event reporting and use guest feedback for continuous improvement
  • utilize client database to forecast events and schedule staff
  • counsel and discipline staff as per HR policies
  • be available for varying shifts including weekends, holidays, and extended workdays
