- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year or more of management experience
- 2 years or more experience as banquet captain
- knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality industry
- broad knowledge of event planning and execution
- proficiency in MS Office suite and database software preferred
- knowledge of POS register systems

Job Duties
- Host special events
- manage a team of event hosts
- oversee all setup of appropriate areas
- collaborate with sales and operations teams to create seamless event experiences
- make personal connections with event clients to exceed guest needs
- ensure completion of event reporting and use feedback to improve satisfaction
- forecast events and schedule staff accordingly
- counsel and discipline staff as needed
- be available to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays
