Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years of relevant audio-visual experience
  • 1+ years supervisory experience
  • knowledge of live show audio-visual equipment
  • experience in event pre-planning and operations
  • proficiency with computer hardware and software including Microsoft Office
  • effective leadership skills
  • customer satisfaction focus
  • valid driver’s license for roles requiring vehicle operation

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma is required
  • bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • 3+ years of audio-visual experience
  • 1+ years of supervisory experience
  • working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in live show environments
  • experience with pre-planning and operations of large audio-visual events
  • proficiency with computer hardware
  • proficiency with software and programs including Internet and Microsoft Office
  • effective leadership abilities
  • strong customer satisfaction focus
  • valid driver’s license required for positions operating company vehicles

Job Duties

  • Direct the operations team on daily equipment setups and strikes
  • ensure appropriate business levels are accommodated by scheduled staff members and delegate tasks appropriately
  • mentor and supervise operational staff to provide outstanding customer service and ensure room sets meet company standards
  • establish excellent working relationships with hotel/resort staff, team members, neighboring locations, and vendors
  • utilize the billing system to coordinate invoicing activities and ensure accuracy
  • ensure inventory control procedures are followed to maintain proper levels and quality of equipment
  • manage on-site equipment inventory and source internal gear before renting externally
  • ensure equipment and services are delivered on time and in good working condition as specified
  • maintain inventory in good working condition and promptly arrange repairs
  • research and stay current on new technology and equipment
  • maintain a positive employee relations environment for audio visual and business center team members
  • manage staff to support business growth and organizational goals
  • provide continuous coaching to develop team member skills
  • manage human resources activities including selection, performance management, and training
  • portray a polished, professional image and uphold employee guidelines
  • ensure employees are properly trained in all areas
  • support property-wide training programs including OSHA and safety
  • provide mentoring and coaching for team development
  • train technical staff and model proper equipment use
  • recommend team members for additional training opportunities
