Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related professional area
  • OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
  • 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related professional area
  • Ability to work full-time
  • Willingness to relocate if necessary

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing or related area
  • OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years experience
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and profitability
  • Knowledge of event technology and operations
  • Proven customer service orientation

Job Duties

  • Manage all event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff on a daily basis
  • Develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
  • Establish and monitor measurable goals for the department
  • Oversee the execution of event logistics for all events
  • Ensure function space, furniture, equipment and corresponding heart of the house areas are maintained
  • Lead event operations meetings and coordinate team efforts
  • Consult with customers to determine objectives and requirements for events
