Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related professional area
- OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related major
- 2 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing or related professional area
- Ability to work full-time
- Willingness to relocate if necessary
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 4 years experience in event management, food and beverage, sales, marketing or related area
- OR 2-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration or related field with 2 years experience
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets and profitability
- Knowledge of event technology and operations
- Proven customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Manage all event service, banquet and event technology operations and staff on a daily basis
- Develop and implement business plans and long-term strategies for event operations
- Establish and monitor measurable goals for the department
- Oversee the execution of event logistics for all events
- Ensure function space, furniture, equipment and corresponding heart of the house areas are maintained
- Lead event operations meetings and coordinate team efforts
- Consult with customers to determine objectives and requirements for events
