Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • ability to move objects up to 25 pounds
  • ability to read and analyze banquet event orders
  • compliance with company safety policies
  • no supervisory experience required
  • no specific license or certification required

Job Duties

  • meet with group coordinators or hosts before receptions
  • make introductions and ensure all arrangements are agreed upon
  • read and analyze the banquet event order to gather guest information
  • determine appropriate organization and chronology for events
  • ensure all banquet preparations are met, including buffets and food stations
  • comply with company safety policies
  • report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • maintain clean and professional appearance
  • protect company property and maintain confidentiality
  • assist team members and support common goals
  • stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods
  • move objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
