Job Requirements

  • high school diploma
  • facility or office management experience
  • event logistics experience strongly preferred
  • experience operating audiovisual equipment a plus
  • professional and courteous demeanor
  • ability to communicate orally and in writing in a professional setting
  • computer competency
  • capable of heavy physical work
  • ability to lift up to 75 pounds and move equipment and fixtures frequently
  • flexibility to work non-standard event schedules including early mornings and late nights

Job Duties

  • act as liaison with the General Services Administration and other building tenants including engineers and security guards
  • oversee client and vendor activities during events and load-out periods
  • ensure protection of the museum by conducting pre- and post-event inspections and reporting damages
  • coordinate internal program and event setup and breakdown
  • manage load dock activities
  • perform heavy physical work including lifting and moving equipment
  • other duties as assigned
