Job Requirements

  • currently enrolled in undergraduate courses in event management and/or hospitality related field, second year or higher preferred
  • ability to handle stressful situations onsite with tact and professionalism
  • must be detail oriented and a self-starter
  • excellent time management skills to meet deadlines daily
  • proficiency with all Microsoft applications such as Excel and Word

Job Duties

  • assist with the final operational details of the DCI summer tour and world championship events
  • prepare event and on-site materials for corps and staff
  • cross-train with ticketing, business development, and marketing departments to gain a comprehensive event perspective
  • provide administrative support to INpact and BANDtastic middle school band programs
  • play an on-site role in executing DCI World Championships and other midwest DCI events
