Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event management or hospitality preferred
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed
- Knowledge of hospitality software and tools
- Ability to handle client inquiries and resolve issues professionally
Job Qualifications
- Experience in event or meeting planning
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Customer service orientation
Job Duties
- Provide the highest levels of customer service to internal partners and external clients
- Deliver a successful experience for planner and attendees focusing on repeat and referral business
- Respond quickly and professionally to all internal and external communications representing Concord Hospitality
- Monitor and manage all aspects of pre-event, event, and post-event details including room blocks, meeting space, concessions, contracts, event orders, and billing
- Gain thorough knowledge of hotel's food and beverage products, function spaces, and audio visual equipment to support event success
- Demonstrate excellent time management, self-motivation, and organizational skills with attention to detail
