Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience in aviation, marketing, public relations, or customer service
  • Flexibility with scheduling and ability to work overtime
  • Ability to travel up to 50 percent
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Professional communication skills
  • Experience managing vendor relationships
  • Budget management skills

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aviation, marketing, public relations or customer service
  • Proficient in event management and coordination
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Skilled in vendor negotiation and contract management
  • Experience in budget tracking and financial management
  • Comfortable with event technology platforms and spatial design awareness
  • Ability to troubleshoot on-site issues calmly and creatively

Job Duties

  • Plan, execute and evaluate marketing events including multi-day conferences, air shows, galas, major sporting and hospitality events, offsite meetings, roadshows, internal meetings, luncheons and employee and family events
  • Negotiate and manage venue contracts for meeting space, food and beverage, accommodations and transportation
  • Monitor costs to ensure budgets are maintained, process invoices, compile budget recaps and make budget recommendations
  • Distribute internal and external communications related to event logistics
  • Provide feedback on event success, customer perceptions and satisfaction levels
  • Promote and maintain positive rapport between customers, employees and suppliers to enhance customer satisfaction
  • Coordinate responsibilities associated with company store and promotional merchandise
