Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from accredited college or university preferably in business, marketing or related field of study
- Two years of work experience in event marketing, product marketing, email marketing, campaign planning, digital marketing, messaging, positioning, copywriting, project management or related field
- Alternatively, four years of work experience with a high school diploma may substitute for a bachelor's degree
- Ability to work occasional nights and weekends for event support
- Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
- Degree verification through official transcripts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, content management systems, web analytics and customer relationship management software
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferably in Business, Marketing or a related field
- 3+ years of progressively responsible event marketing experience including product marketing, email marketing, digital marketing, messaging, copywriting and/or project management
- Experience working in higher education preferred
- Excellent skill with business software including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Web analytics, CMS, and CRM software
- Expert knowledge of writing, grammar, syntax, style and punctuation
- Ability to write clear, compelling copy appropriate to target audiences
- Strong event promotion and marketing abilities
- Ability to interact professionally with the business community
- Self-initiative and creativity

Job Duties
- Work with internal and external stakeholders to create KSB events
- Coordinate, plan, and execute all on-site and off-site, in-person and virtual events for KSB
- Serve as event producer tying all aspects of events together to successfully execute memorable events
- Serve as a liaison between event stakeholders ensuring logistics are planned seamlessly
- Coordinate event staffing needs
- Submit additional service orders such as cleaning, catering, furniture, and transportation for guests
- Coordinate event-related meetings with stakeholders to ensure details and deadlines are managed
- Create run of shows, AV needs, and floor plans
- Assist with virtual meetings, workshops, and events using programs like Zoom
- Maintain shared calendar of events and provide updates to relevant personnel
- Serve as main contact with university departments to ensure adherence to policies
- Facilitate required event paperwork including legal agreements, contracts, and insurance
- Work with Public Safety on event security if applicable
- Coordinate event walk-throughs with event staff
- Assist with tracking event expenses and budget in collaboration with stakeholders
- Provide support in event digital marketing, invitations, public relations, and social media outreach
- Assist with promotional materials, invitations, and registration
- Provide logistical updates to Marketing and Recruitment team
- Provide on-site event support including technology preparedness, room configuration, and catering
- Greet guests professionally and problem-solve last-minute issues
- Support event hosts as needed
- Coordinate post-event activities including surveys and feedback collection
- Report findings to internal stakeholders
- Suggest creative improvements for future events
- Perform other duties as assigned
