Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in event management, event marketing, sports management, hospitality, business administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years' experience in event marketing and coordination, logistics, or operations support
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays
  • Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting

Job Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in Event Management, Event Marketing, Sports Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in event marketing, coordination, logistics, or operations support
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with Adobe Suite and Canva preferred
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Job Duties

  • Develops marketing plans for event ecosystem including signage, venue dressing, music and entertainment, and on-site activations
  • Coordinates event prize checks, awards, and manages awards ceremonies
  • Negotiates event logistics and services agreements including medical, security, accommodations, catering, and equipment rentals
  • Supports on-site daily event operations and serves as point of contact for customer service
  • Schedules pre-event meetings with Local Organizing Committees and USAA staff
  • Solicits digital advertisement sales and provides event information for promotional campaigns
  • Coordinates travel and meals for event staff and contractors
  • Solicits and manages vendor participation and on-site logistics
  • Collaborates with LOCs to prepare materials for athlete registration and special events
  • Ensures communication to coaches and athletes regarding event deadlines and updates
  • Manages volunteer logistics including distribution and credentialing
  • Plans and coordinates sponsor and event signage and marketing activations
  • Ensures compliance with Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy and manages personnel tracking tools
  • Collects and reviews expense reimbursement submissions
  • Assists in budget development and policy management
  • Fields general email and phone inquiries
  • Attends staff meetings and works cross-functionally with marketing and communications staff
  • Performs other duties as assigned
