Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least one year of relevant experience in a convention hotel or event management
  • Full flexibility to accommodate varying schedules including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficient with job-related software and event management tools

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person
  • Create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet expectations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate to handle complaints, settle disputes, and resolve grievances
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solution
  • Ensure high-quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction, guidance, feedback, and coaching
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
