Job Description

Fever Originals, since July 2019, has been the driving force behind Candlelight, a series of classical music concerts held in intimate, candlelit venues worldwide. This innovative program has brought classical music to the general public by creating unique and memorable experiences in undiscovered venues across various cities including Paris, Toulouse, Lyon, Madrid, Barcelona, Seville, Valencia, Lisbon, Porto, Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago, with plans to expand further. Candlelight concerts, now present in over 300 cities globally, have succeeded in democratizing classical music and making it accessible to a diverse audience.

Job Requirements

minimum high school diploma or equivalent
1+ years of event management experience or relevant degree preferred
exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
strong organizational and leadership abilities
ability to lead and manage teams onsite
problem-solving and quick decision-making skills
ability to work under pressure in live event settings
familiarity with AV and PA systems a plus
access to a personal laptop
valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
ability to drive uHaul or arrange alternative supply transportation

Job Qualifications

1+ years of experience in event management or a relevant degree preferred
interest and passion for live music and organizing events
exceptional customer service skills
experience leading an on-site team
strong problem-solving skills
ability to work in a pressured environment
knowledge of AV and PA systems desirable
use of personal laptop required
valid driver's license strongly preferred

Job Duties

act as main point of contact onsite for Candlelight events and staff
communicate directly with Fever Originals manager
full visibility into staff roster
set schedule
communicate with the staffing agency about any reschedules of events
ensure each staff member is trained in their duties such as validating tickets, accommodating guests to their seats, and setting up candles
drive uHaul with event supplies to and from concert venues or arrange alternative transportation
manage inventory and track supplies
manage any printing needs
manage guest lists for all events
manage opening and closing remarks at events including occasional public speaking
provide weekly reports to Fever Originals project managers including pre and post-event feedback
assist with evaluating and executing walk-throughs of potential venues
represent Fever and Candlelight brands professionally and act as the main customer service representative at every event
