Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of event experience at a major hotel or luxury brand
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm with flexibility for earlier/later shifts and some weekends
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience coordinating with multiple departments
  • Proficiency with event management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Must demonstrate Hilton core values of hospitality, integrity, leadership, teamwork, ownership, and urgency
  • Ability to maintain regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of event experience at a 'big box' hotel of Hilton or luxury brand
  • Demonstrated ability to manage events from planning through execution
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficient in relevant job systems and event management software
  • Conflict resolution and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends
  • Knowledge of sales and upselling techniques
  • High level of organizational and problem-solving skills

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan, and prioritize duties by developing clear plans and goals
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external clients through various channels, including telephone, email, and in-person interactions
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to set and meet expectations
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of job systems, products, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts, negotiate with others, and handle complaints, disputes, and grievances
  • Influence and sell to both internal and external clients to maximize event opportunities
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing issues and determining the best solutions
  • Deliver high-quality service by understanding guest needs and providing direction, guidance, feedback, and coaching when required
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as needed
  • Perform other duties as necessary based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance to ensure consistent service
