Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, public relations, communications, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3-5+ years of experience in event management and audience development, attendee recruitment, or delegate sales
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time both domestically and internationally
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with social media content creation and performance monitoring
- Familiarity with marketing automation programs like HubSpot
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, event management, public relations, communications, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5+ years of professional work experience in event management, audience development, attendee recruitment, or delegate sales
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills with ability to prioritize tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience engaging senior executives
- Experience creating and scheduling content across social media platforms and monitoring engagement metrics
- Experience supporting B2B industry events, preferably with cybersecurity or government intelligence technology exposure
- Experience with marketing automation programs such as HubSpot
Job Duties
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to plan and execute events including conferences, trade shows, and customer experiences
- Define and communicate event objectives, goals, and KPIs and lead post-event reviews
- Conceptualize event messaging and design with creative and content teams to deliver compelling and on-brand experiences
- Develop and execute multi-channel promotional campaigns including email marketing and social media
- Lead all aspects of event logistics such as venue booking, technical setup, scheduling, and staffing
- Act as the primary liaison for vendors, suppliers, contractors, and internal stakeholders
- Use tools such as HubSpot to segment audiences, manage invitations, and track registration
- Conduct post-event surveys and lead post-event reporting to assess performance and ROI
