Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of related experience in event management or venue operations
  • Ability to manage multiple large-scale events simultaneously
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to make sound financial and operational decisions quickly
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances including security and weather
  • Willingness to work irregular hours including nights and weekends

  • Knowledge of venue functionality
  • Understanding of event management procedures
  • Ability to maintain excellent public image
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors, and internal divisions
  • Knowledge of current concert tours, conventions, and trade show trends

Job Duties

  • Serve as primary on-site contact with event promoters for all stages of events
  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee move-in, execution, and move-out of events
  • Supervise facility operations including contractors and employees during events
  • Determine staffing needs and manage changes due to security concerns, attendance fluctuations, or weather
  • Develop operational and financial plans including event area layouts and distribute to staff
  • Coordinate with security and food vendors to ensure patron satisfaction
  • Prepare and correlate lessee expense information to support financial settlements
