Job Requirements

- 3-5 years of related event management experience
- Knowledge of venue functionality
- Knowledge of event management procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with internal divisions, contracted vendors, and clientele
- Strong public relations skills to maintain excellent facility image
- Familiarity with current concert tours, conventions, and production trends
Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site contact with event promoters for large-scale events
- Manage all phases of event planning including move-in, event execution, and move-out
- Supervise facility operations, including oversight of outside contractors and facility employees
- Determine and adjust staffing requirements based on security concerns, attendance, weather, and other variables
- Make timely financial and operational decisions throughout event planning and execution
- Develop and distribute detailed operational and financial plans to staff
- Coordinate with security and food vendors to ensure optimal patron satisfaction
- Monitor event requirements ensuring coordination with other activities in the complex
- Prepare and communicate lessee expense information to support financial settlements
