Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of related experience
- Ability to manage complex events and maintain composure under pressure
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Capability to coordinate multiple stakeholders including vendors and security
- Flexibility to adapt to changing event needs and schedules
- Knowledge of budgeting and financial oversight related to events
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 years of related event management experience
- Knowledge of venue functionality
- Familiarity with event management procedures
- Ability to establish and maintain relationships with facility divisions, contracted vendors, and clientele including high-profile touring promotion agencies
- Strong public image maintenance skills for the facility
- Knowledge of current concert tours, conventions, trade shows, and concert production trends
Job Duties
- Serve as primary on-site contact with every promoter for events ranging in gross revenue to potentially more than $1M
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events including move in, event execution, and move out
- Supervise facility operations including outside contractors and facility employees during events
- Determine staffing requirements and adjust for security concerns, attendance fluctuations, weather, and cancellations or late arrivals
- Make sound financial and operational decisions regarding event changes
- Develop detailed operational and financial plans and diagrams for distribution and implementation
- Oversee division staffing during events and coordinate with resources to meet the needs of tenants, performers, and promoters
- Coordinate with in-house and third-party security and food vendors to ensure optimal patron satisfaction
- Assist tenants in arranging supportive services and resolve problems encountered by tenants and technical staff
- Monitor event requirements in relation to other events and activities scheduled at the complex
- Prepare and correlate lessee expense information to support financial settlement activities
- Perform duties as assigned and exercise resource stewardship in compliance with policies and procedures
