Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years event or convention services experience
- experience with convention centers or multi-use venues

Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event or convention services, hospitality, or related industry
- experience with convention centers, hotels with meeting or ballroom spaces, or multi-use venues
- strong understanding of hospitality-driven event operations and client service models
- strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
- excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication abilities
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- proven customer service expertise with conflict resolution skills
- financial proficiency in forecasting, billing reconciliation, and budget tracking
- familiarity with event services, banquet standards, venue management, culinary terminology, and room setups
- collaborative team player able to coordinate across departments and partners
- working knowledge of union labor environments
- sales-minded with customer service focus for upselling
- bilingual in English/Spanish highly desirable
- proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- knowledge of Momentus (Ungerboeck), AutoCAD, and database management tools
- experience with Corrigo or similar systems
- familiarity with procurement platforms like Coupa
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) preferred
- Certified Special Events Professional (CSEP) a plus
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification preferred
- OSHA 10 Certification a plus
- continuing education in sustainability, revenue management, digital event strategy, or venue management valued
Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned events
- coordinate and conduct pre-planning site visits
- facilitate pre-conference and post-event meetings
- lead clients in compliance with event agreements and policies
- provide exceptional service to clients by anticipating and resolving challenges
- support sales teams with site inspections and transitions
- identify upsell opportunities to generate additional revenue
- collaborate with food and beverage providers on operational needs
- maintain visibility throughout event phases
- oversee client experience lifecycle
- prepare and distribute event documentation prior to event dates
- oversee coordination of venue services and contract partners
- maintain onsite presence to ensure smooth event execution and safety
- conduct event walkthroughs before, during, and after events
- resolve operational challenges collaboratively
- leverage Momentus for event planning and communication
- utilize Corrigo for maintenance and work orders
- coordinate AV/rigging service deposits with technical teams
- prepare daily event reports
- use Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and AutoCAD for planning and reporting
- engage with data for analysis and decision-making
- manage event work orders and estimates
- submit billable charges for event settlement
- inform clients of changes in charges
- support revenue forecasting
- ensure compliance with procurement and financial policies
- deliver white-glove service throughout event stages
- respond promptly to issues
- collaborate on emergency preparedness and risk mitigation
- maintain knowledge of culinary and banquet standards
- promote sustainability initiatives
- complete post-event debriefs and surveys
- lead internal and external meetings
- mentor Event Coordinator
- participate in food and beverage provider meetings
- perform additional event-related duties as assigned
