Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in event management or catering
- ability to work part-time up to 40 hours a week
- proficiency with timekeeping systems such as HCMtogo
- valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks
- availability to work weekends and event days
- adherence to company safety and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- experience with small events less than 50 persons
- familiarity with warehouse pulls and event logistics
- ability to manage time effectively during shifts
- experience in team leadership and staff coordination
- knowledge of food service and catering operations
- good driving record with ability to operate vans and small box trucks
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to adapt in dynamic environments
- physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- experience with event software or management tools preferred
Job Duties
- clocking in and out for shifts through HCMtogo and minimizing missed punches
- time management within shifts and ensuring breaks are taken before the 5th hour of a shift
- assist in event pull sheets and learn from Event Managers on efficiency within pulls
- double check event checklist and event comment page
- work with Director of Operations to maintain inventory of dry goods, beverages, linen, decor, food items, paper products
- warehouse organization and inventory of products and equipment post events
- maintain good driving record and abide by all traffic laws
- ability to drive company vans and small box trucks
- report to warehouse at scheduled time on event days
- read event folders and ensure all items needed for event are accounted for
- check with chefs for food and condiments readiness
- load day-of pull items and food into vehicles
- introduce yourself to client and conduct walkthrough of event space
- act as only point of contact for event and meet with FOH staff to review event timeline
- conduct FOH meeting to establish roles, uniforms, grooming, and event timeline details
- communicate with onsite culinary for service timelines
- communicate any updates with culinary and staff
- fill out timesheets and post-event notes
- manage events from start to finish and prepare for load-out
- take inventory during load-out and delegate tasks
- ensure food reefer trucks remain on and notify morning crew
- conduct final walkthrough of event space and clean up
- return vehicles to BTS and unload specified items
- complete any outstanding event files
