Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous event management experience especially with small-scale events
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Ability to drive company vans and trucks
- Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical labor
- Willingness to follow safety protocols including exposure to cleaning chemicals
- Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience managing small events with fewer than 50 persons
- Proficiency using inventory management and scheduling software such as HCMtogo
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and coordinate a team
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving company vans and small box trucks
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Capable of standing for long periods and performing physical tasks associated with event setup and breakdown
Job Duties
- Clock in and out for shifts using HCMtogo and communicate missed punches on the same day
- Manage time during shifts ensuring breaks are taken before the fifth hour and recorded accurately
- Assist with event pull sheets and learn efficient pull processes from senior event managers
- Double check event checklists and comment pages to ensure event readiness
- Maintain inventory of dry goods, beverages, linens, decor, food items, and paper products in coordination with the Director of Operations
- Organize warehouse and inventory post-events
- Drive company vans and small box trucks maintaining a good driving record
- Report to warehouse on event day, ensure all event items are prepared and loaded
- Conduct onsite client introductions, event space walkthroughs, and serve as the main point of contact
- Lead front of house meetings establishing roles, uniform standards, and event timelines
- Communicate with the onsite culinary team for service timelines and updates
- Complete timesheets and post-event notes with relevant client feedback
- Manage event from start to finish, including setup, service, and load-out
- Take inventory of equipment during load-out and ensure clean event space
- Return vehicles to BTS and complete outstanding event files
