Job Requirements
- 5+ years of professional full-time experience in event planning or hospitality industry
- Ability and willingness to work some evenings and occasional weekends
- Ability to travel overnight as required
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Ability to maintain a calm, professional demeanor in a high-volume environment
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in event management, hospitality, or marketing or equivalent experience
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred but not required
- 5+ years of professional full-time experience in event planning or hospitality industry
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office programs
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects with flexibility
- Ability to maintain professional demeanor in high-paced environments
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in budgeting and event logistics
Job Duties
- Collaborate with senior event manager and key stakeholders to coordinate and support over 125 annual events including major programs such as shareholder meetings and awards ceremonies
- Take primary responsibility for planning, budgeting, and execution of designated events
- Organize and deliver employee engagement activities including service award receptions and recognition luncheons
- Coordinate logistics and catering for leadership program meetings and graduations
- Work with stakeholders to create member experiences and manage corporate suite events
- Manage event invitation processes, inventory, and procurement of supplies
- Provide guidance and mentorship to marketing administrative assistant and event coordinator
- Support senior event manager on major events and special projects
- Take ownership of additional events and strategic initiatives
- Ensure compliance with bank policies, laws, and BSA/AML Program
- Perform other duties as assigned
