Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience in event or meeting management or hotel catering or convention
  • prior successful experience developing and maintaining key client relationships
  • ability to thrive in an agile, continuously changing environment
  • prior experience handling multiple projects and demands
  • professional oral presentation and writing skills required
  • excellent computer skills including G Suite and Microsoft Office and ability to learn new technology quickly

Job Duties

  • serve as primary point of contact for meeting and event hosts
  • manage large volume of small to medium complex meetings
  • coordinate logistics and guide clients through event planning process
  • communicate meeting logistics and tasks promptly via internal systems
  • facilitate prompt and accurate handling of all event details
  • coordinate and attend site inspections as needed
  • work closely with service partners including catering, facilities, technology and AV, executive production, security, transportation, janitorial, and third party suppliers
