Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in hospitality or event management preferred
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in event management systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
- Customer-focused attitude
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in event management or hospitality industry preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency with event management software such as Delphi
- Customer service oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of banquet and catering operations
Job Duties
- Provide direction and supervision to departments to ensure successful execution of meetings and/or events
- Serve on-site group and catering clients and respond to questions about the event including group room blocks, food and beverage, function space, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes
- Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
- Respond to guest inquiries and special requests and resolve issues and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Prepare reports, correspondence and analysis related to group activity
- Lead, facilitate and participate in meetings, as needed
- Manage and forecast group room blocks
- Manage and forecast group and catered events in Delphi system
