Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in hospitality or event management preferred
  • Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in event management systems
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize duties
  • Customer-focused attitude

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in event management or hospitality industry preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency with event management software such as Delphi
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of banquet and catering operations

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and supervision to departments to ensure successful execution of meetings and/or events
  • Serve on-site group and catering clients and respond to questions about the event including group room blocks, food and beverage, function space, ancillary and vendor services, affiliates/exhibitors and related billing processes
  • Monitor and assess service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly
  • Respond to guest inquiries and special requests and resolve issues and concerns in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Prepare reports, correspondence and analysis related to group activity
  • Lead, facilitate and participate in meetings, as needed
  • Manage and forecast group room blocks
  • Manage and forecast group and catered events in Delphi system
