Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year experience in hotel event management
Knowledge of catering and event planning
Proficient in handling Banquet Event Orders
Flexible availability to work early mornings or late evenings
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work under pressure

Job Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience in event management at a hotel of similar or larger size
Strong understanding of hotel catering and client event planning
Ability to coordinate logistics through Banquet Event Order (BEO) process
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain client relationships

Job Duties

Organize, plan, and prioritize event management duties by developing plans and goals
Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person
Create and maintain relationships with clients to meet and deliver client expectations
Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
Resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints and settling disputes
Sell and influence internal and external clients to maximize revenue
Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process
