Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience in hotel event management
- Knowledge of catering and event planning
- Proficient in handling Banquet Event Orders
- Flexible availability to work early mornings or late evenings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience in event management at a hotel of similar or larger size
- Strong understanding of hotel catering and client event planning
- Ability to coordinate logistics through Banquet Event Order (BEO) process
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated skills in conflict resolution and negotiation
- Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Job Duties
- Organize, plan, and prioritize event management duties by developing plans and goals
- Communicate timely with internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents, or in person
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to meet and deliver client expectations
- Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
- Resolve conflicts and negotiate while handling complaints and settling disputes
- Sell and influence internal and external clients to maximize revenue
- Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process
