Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management, hospitality, or related field
  • 5+ years of event management experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to travel including weekends
  • Valid passport
  • Ability to work in a hybrid remote setting based in New York City office

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in event management, hospitality, or related field
  • 5+ years of event management experience with preference in the luxury brand space
  • Familiarity with Michelin Guide restaurants and chef community a plus
  • Demonstrated experience leading high-profile/luxury, multi-format events with discerning clientele
  • Deep respect for culinary excellence and service standards
  • Tasteful attention to details and aesthetics and passion for the guest experience
  • Strong organizational skills and understanding of the event production life cycle including concepting, budgeting, communication and project management
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with key contributors and partners
  • Confidence in identifying potential hurdles in the planning process along with strong problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills along with a capacity to prioritize tasks
  • Critical thinking mentality demonstrating skill in developing and delivering innovative events to further partnership strategies
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, yet also individually, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Spanish and/or French language skills are a plus
  • Valid passport

Job Duties

  • Coordinate all phases of event planning from concept to execution including but not limited to venue or restaurant selection, catering and menu curation, audio-visual requirements, communications, decor, branded/printed elements, production/run of show timelines, and event registration
  • Develop and manage budgets for each event, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial guidelines
  • Successfully lead a project team and coordinate interested parties through the organization of meetings to ensure alignment and communication flow
  • Lead efforts in the implementation of offers with external partners managing the deployment of the events from design to post-event satisfaction in collaboration with the client and internal team members
  • Collaborate closely with key team members and partners both inside and outside the organization in providing logistical details, operational timelines to ensure successful event execution
  • Assist in expanding relationships with existing partners by proposing and arranging solutions that meet their needs and requirements to drive mutual growth
  • Analyze event success against key performance indicators and implement improvements for future events
