Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year event management experience
  • flexible schedule based on groups in house and client meetings
  • ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • familiarity with hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
  • commitment to providing high-quality service
  • regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one year event management experience
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems (Delphi.fdc) is preferred
  • event management experience within the hotel industry and/or Hilton background is advantageous
  • excellent communication and organizational skills
  • ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
  • strong customer service orientation
  • proficient in conflict resolution and negotiation

Job Duties

  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • timely communication to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain relationships with clients to set and meet client expectations and deliver on those expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, systems, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating the issues and determine the best solution
