Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year hospitality or event planning experience
  • Knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc
  • Experience in revenue management or similar analytical role
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Job Duties

  • Provide direction and supervision to affected departments and team members during the execution of meeting and/or event
  • Directly serve on site group and catering customers in a proactive manner
  • Organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • Communicate timely to internal and external clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • Demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, booking systems, and processes
  • Resolve conflicts and negotiate with others while handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts
  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients
  • Make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues and determining the best solutions
  • Ensure high quality service by communicating and assisting others to understand guest needs, providing direction and guidance, feedback and coaching when needed
  • Participate in customer site inspections and assist with the sales process as necessary
  • Perform other duties based on business needs
  • Maintain regular attendance
