Job Requirements

  • Minimum six months hotel experience
  • flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends
  • strong sales skills and attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems preferred
  • relevant degree or training in business development or hospitality preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum six months hotel experience preferably in events or guest services
  • demonstrated sales skills
  • ability to book group events and attention to detail
  • knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Delphi.fdc is advantageous
  • relevant degree in business development or related field is a plus
  • ability to operate with flexibility in work schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • strong organizational and planning abilities

Job Duties

  • Sell and influence both internal and external clients including solicitation of groups of 10-20 attendees
  • organize, plan and prioritize duties by developing plans and goals
  • communicate timely with clients via telephone, email, written documents or in person
  • create and maintain client relationships to set and meet expectations
  • demonstrate knowledge of job systems, products, and processes
  • resolve conflicts and negotiate to handle complaints, disputes, and grievances
  • make decisions and solve problems by analyzing and evaluating issues
  • ensure high-quality service by providing guidance, feedback, and coaching
  • participate in customer site inspections and assist with sales process
  • perform other duties as necessary
  • maintain regular attendance
