Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years event management experience in an arena or public assembly facility
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to walk, stand, speak and move quickly in emergent situations
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years of event management experience in an arena or public assembly facility
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • CAD experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Plan and facilitate major touring acts and professional sporting events
  • Prepare detailed event outlines and instructions based on lessee needs
  • Recommend staffing levels for event staff including security, ushers, medical staff, and stagehands
  • Assist in scheduling and approving event staff timesheets for payroll
  • Provide financial reports and estimates for events
  • Ensure facility set-ups comply with lessee agreements and safety codes
  • Direct and supervise all event staff members
  • Identify and recommend capital expenditure projects
  • Maintain confidentiality of all event-related information
  • Assist in various project work as necessary
  • Maintain professional attitude and appearance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
