Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3-4 years event management experience in an arena or public assembly facility
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • ability to walk, stand, speak and move quickly about the building in emergent situations
  • ability to lift 50lbs
  • ability to work non-traditional hours including evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-4 years event management experience in an arena or public assembly facility
  • knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • exceptional interpersonal communication skills
  • strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • ability to multitask
  • ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • CAD experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Planning and facilitation of major touring acts and professional sporting events including preparing detailed outlines and instructions based on lessee needs
  • recommending staffing levels for event staff including security, ushers, medical staff, stagehands
  • assisting in scheduling, reviewing and approving event staff timesheets for payroll
  • providing financial reports and estimates
  • assuring facility set-ups comply with lessee agreements, safety, fire and health codes
  • providing direction and direct supervision to event staff
  • identifying and recommending capex projects
  • maintaining strict confidentiality of all information
  • assisting in various project work as necessary
  • maintaining a professional attitude and appearance
  • performing other related duties as assigned
