The role of Event Manager is a crucial position within these facilities, offering an annual salary range of $50,000 to $52,000. An Event Manager is responsible for the comprehensive planning and execution of a diverse range of events. This position requires acting as the primary contact for clients, understanding their expectations, and coordinating all aspects of event management. An Event Manager will oversee the development of event budgets, planning, staging, production, parking, personnel coordination, equipment arrangements, signage, and event settlement. Part of the role involves conducting facility tours and informational sessions with clients and vendors to ensure thorough understanding and smooth execution of each event. The Event Manager must efficiently communicate event plans to various departments and draw diagrams using CAD software to support event layouts. Supervisory responsibilities include leading venue staff to deliver a seamless event experience and resolving any issues that may arise during the event. Beyond event execution, the Event Manager supports future business growth by continuing client and vendor engagement. This role demands excellent problem-solving skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to remain adaptable in a fast-paced, sometimes high-pressure environment. Job Requirements

  • bachelor's degree preferred

Job Duties

  • serve as primary venue contact for clients and provide leadership for venue staff to execute successful events
  • coordinate all event details such as event budgets, event planning, parking, staging, production, personnel, equipment, signage, and event settlement
  • conduct facility tours and informational sessions with clients and vendors to develop sound plans for event execution
  • develop accurate event plans to disseminate specific customer needs to facility departments
  • draw diagrams using CAD software to support event plan details
  • devise staffing plans and provide labor estimates to clients that fit within contracted labor agreements
  • supervise event activity on the floor including personnel to meet client needs and deliver a memorable experience
  • effectively resolve event issues as they arise and lead other facility staff in executing events
  • review and prepare event invoices
  • support other staff to help procure future business by conducting facility tours and information sessions with clients and vendors
  • perform other duties as assigned
