Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- 2 years of experience providing event support
- bachelor’s degree preferred
- ability to work onsite and remotely
- ability to supervise a student team
- commitment to inclusive event design
- knowledge of A/V, webinar, and hybrid-event technology
- excellent communication skills
- ability to manage multiple events and deadlines
- maturity in giving and receiving feedback
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience providing event support
- demonstrated success supervising student employees or mentoring students
- demonstrated success running hybrid events
Job Duties
- Establishes and sustains relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- establishes and executes day-to-day operational functions and goals of events to align with existing strategy
- exercises supervisory authority including hiring, managing conduct and performance, and scheduling of at least 2.0 FTE or equivalent employees
- identifies, proposes, and implements new or revised unit operational policies and procedures
- monitors the budget and approves expenditures
- coordinates logistics for events including catering, AV services, décor, and livestreaming
- supervises student events team
