Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Event planning experience required
  • Ability to sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Ability to be physically present at company office during business hours
  • Ability to travel 30 percent of the time
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to physically handle event materials
  • Must maintain regular attendance

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Event planning experience
  • College degree in marketing preferred
  • 3 plus years of experience in an event role preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent communication abilities

Job Duties

  • Manages planning and execution of full range of events including floor days, road shows, internal corporate events, trainings and conferences
  • Manages pre- and post-show marketing of events
  • Handles contract negotiation, creative development, logistical coordination of onsite needs including audiovisual, setup, food and beverage
  • Manages registration and database management
  • Oversees production and purchasing for events
  • Develops and reconciles event budgets with manager approval
  • Incorporates strategic initiatives into actionable event plans
  • Applies industry and corporate knowledge to quality control of marketing communications
  • Manages communications with appropriate analysis
  • Coordinates all marketing communications with final approval from team manager
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Maintains regular attendance
