Job Requirements
- Must be available for pre-season training at the venue in mid-April 2026
- Must be available to work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays May through October 2026
- Must be able to work alone at 80% of the time
- Must be able to lift tables and chairs and be on feet for long periods
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be detail-oriented and a problem-solver in a fast-paced event environment
- Must be dependable and possess a strong work ethic, with a teamwork mentality
- Must maintain a professional appearance at all times
- Must have reliable transportation to and from Historic Shady Lane for all scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Detail-oriented and able to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Strong work ethic with a teamwork mentality
- Capable of working independently most of the time
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience in event management or customer service preferred
Job Duties
- Provide outstanding customer service to all Historic Shady Lane clients and guests
- Work alongside and assist contracted vendors as needed throughout all events
- Perform walkthroughs of the entire property before clients, guests, and vendors arrive
- Work directly with the couples’ contract planner to aid as needed
- Carefully review and adhere to event timeline and all key details
- Understand all venue policies and ensure vendors and guests adhere to policies
- Move tables and chairs as needed throughout the event
